Murrieta Egg-Stravaganza, Community Services Expo Planned For Easter Weekend

Easter weekend is full of delights for Murrieta kids on Saturday. Here's what to know when you go!

MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta’s Spring EGGstravaganza and Recreation Expo is planned for Saturday, April 4 at Town Square Park & Amphitheater. Festivities are timed based upon age, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Note: A special needs egg hunt starts at 9:30 a.m.!

This free, family-friendly event is packed with springtime fun, including music, interactive vendors, prize giveaways, and activities for all ages, according to a city spokesperson.

When you go, feel free to explore the Community Services Department’s programs and classes, meet instructors and discover new ways to get involved throughout the year.

"Kids can bring their own baskets or bags and take part in the egg hunt, featuring over 12,000 eggs hidden throughout the park," a city spokesperson said.

There will be food vendors, prizes and free family fun during the event, according to the city.

"Bring the whole family, enjoy the festivities, and hop into spring with us!"

Egg Hunt Times:

  • 3 Years - 9:30 AM
  • 4 Years - 9:45 AM
  • 5 Years - 10:00 AM
  • 6 Years - 10:15 AM
  • 7-8 Years - 10:30 AM
  • 9-10 Years - 10:45 AM
  • 2 & Under and Special Needs Area - 9:30-10:30 AM

Please note:

For your child's safety, no parents will be permitted in the main Egg Hunt area! If you must accompany your child, you may do so in the 2 & Under and Special Needs Area.
