ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Ever wanted to try a six ounce cookie?

New York City-based cookie seller Levain Bakery is opening up shop at Fashion Island in Newport Beach this September, The Orange County Register reported.

The East Coast cookie merchant specializes in thick cookies that are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside.

Notably, each cookie weighs in at six ounces apiece, the report said.

The shop will open up at Fashion Island in early September, the newspaper reported.

"We have always felt that Levain brings people together, and our LA Bakeries have shown us that Southern California agrees," co-founders Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald said in a statement. "Levain in Newport Beach feels like the next natural step."
