Horses On The Loose Rounded Up By Police In Marin County, Owner Still Unknown
A corporal and a dispatcher with equestrian experience corralled the Arabian-Cross pair, police said.
NOVATO, CA — Two horses were found roaming a Novato neighborhood early Wednesday morning, prompting a response from Novato police officers with a rather specialized skill set.
The pair of Arabian-Cross horses were spotted on Wednesday near Mill Road and Santa Maria Drive, where Corporal Houser and Dispatcher Adam — both experienced with horses — were able to corral and secure the animals.

"As our resident equestrians, they utilized their tactical horse-whispering skills and safely secured the pair," police said.
