San Marin High's Winning Streak Snapped At 12

San Marin (12-3, 5-2 MCAL) hadn't experienced a setback since opening the season with consecutive losses Nov. 27 and Nov. 30.

NOVATO, CA — San Marin High’s winning streak ended at 12 games Tuesday night.

The girls' basketball team’s streak ended with a 43-23 Marin County Athletic League loss to Marin Catholic.

Keeley Wright scored 13 points and had four rebounds and three steals to lead the Mustangs. The junior guard is averaging 12.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 2.4 assists.

Marin Catholic (13-4, 7-0) extended its winning streak to five games. The Kentfield school is the state’s top-ranked Division 4 team, according to MaxPreps.
