SUV Crashes Into North Bay Department Store: Report

NOVATO, CA — An SUV crashed into the front of a Novato clothing store on Saturday morning, according to a report citing the store's employees.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. at Ross Dress For Less, located at 104 Vintage Way in Novato, KRON4 reported.

Ross customer Airianna Amaral told the outlet that an employee at the shopping center was nearly run over in the crash.

“There was a lady who works at See’s, she was walking right in front of [the store] and kind of jumped out of the way and her arm got hit,” Amaral told KRON4. “It was really scary.”

Novato police have not released additional details about the incident. It's unclear if anyone was injured, or if anyone was detained in connection with the crash.
