Craft In The Park: Oceanside Event Offers Hands-On Projects For Kids

OCEANSIDE, CA — Children and teens ages 5 to 17 can spend the morning making crafts during Oceanside Parks and Recreation's Craft in the Park event.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 12 at John Landes Park at 2855 Cedar Road.

Participants can make rainbow garden and butterfly suncatchers, design and decorate fabric snapback bracelets, and complete coloring projects to take home.

The cost is $9 per participant, including a $7 fee plus a processing fee. Registration is required.

At least one adult must remain with each participating child throughout the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring water and wear sunscreen.
