San Diego Seals Move Home Games To Frontwave Arena

OCEANSIDE, CA — The San Diego Seals are moving their home games to Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, giving the professional box lacrosse team a new home in North San Diego County.

The Seals said the team will play its home games at the arena beginning with the 2026-27 National Lacrosse League season.

Frontwave Arena opened in 2024 and is located near Interstate 5, state Route 76 and state Route 78. The move gives the Seals a venue closer to North County communities, where youth and high school lacrosse programs have grown in recent years.

The team plays an 18-game regular-season schedule, with nine home games and nine road games. The Seals have won 70 of 120 regular-season games since their inaugural 2018-19 season and have reached the NLL playoffs following each of their six full seasons, excluding seasons affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team's roster includes Wes Berg, Tre LeClaire, Trevor Baptiste, Zach Currier and Chris Origlieri.

"Frontwave is a first-class, intimate venue that brings fans closer to the action than ever before," Seals CEO Paul Speaker said in a statement. "Every seat feels like you are right on top of the floor, creating the kind of electric, high-energy environment that makes Seals games so special. We cannot wait to welcome our loyal fans, introduce new families and lacrosse supporters to the Seals, and build an incredible home-field advantage together at Frontwave Arena."

Frontwave Arena includes premium seating, reserved seating for people with accessibility needs, luxury suites, VIP viewing decks and lounges. Its concessions include Seaside Market, Tanner's Prime Burgers and Gelati & Peccati.

The Seals are working with existing season-ticket members to transfer their memberships to the new venue. The team is also accepting deposits for new season-ticket memberships.

The 2026-27 NLL schedule is expected to be released next month. Ticket and parking prices will also be announced later.
