Almost 1,000 E-Bikes, E-Motorcycles Surrendered At Buyback Event In Orange County: Report
Orange County residents exchanged their electric vehicles for cash at the event, which took place Sunday.
ANAHEIM, CA — Almost 1,000 e-bikes and e-motorcycles were surrendered at a buyback event in Orange County hosted by the District Attorney's office, KTLA reported.
Orange County District Attorney officials told KTLA that the number of vehicles surrendered was "close to 1,000."
The OC District Attorney's office first E-Bike and E-Moto Buy Back Program took place Sunday at Angel Stadium.

Attendees who brought their vehicles were offered up to $1,000 in gift cards and tickets to an Angels game, according to a media statement issued by the OC District Attorney's office.
"We had nine full truckloads of 26-foot U-Haul trucks," the spokesperson told KTLA.
