CA's Largest Pot 'Superstore' Closes Due To Losing Millions: Report
The Orange County-based marijuana superstore was reported to be four times the size of a regular Trader Joe's, SFGate reported.
SANTA ANA, CA — The largest marijuana dispensary in California is shutting down after reporting millions of dollars in losses, SFGate reported.
Planet 13 opened five years ago at 3400 W. Warner Ave. in Santa Ana, boasting a size four times larger than an average Trader Joe's, an interactive wall of TV screens, a Volkswagen bus that emits smoke and several props.
The store's parent company, Planet 13 Holdings, announced in November that it would sell that 55,000-square-foot store due to the deep financial losses, according to Cannabis Business Times.
