Three days of incredible BBQ, live music, family fun and community celebration, THIS Father’s Day Weekend at the free King of the County BBQ and Music Festival at Martinez Waterfront Park, Friday through Sunday.
Presented by the Martinez Refining Company and the Martinez Chamber of Commerce, this beloved community tradition draws more than 20,000 attendees for an unforgettable waterfront weekend filled with entertainment, amazing food and shopping selections, kids fun zone and activities for all ages.
The festival features FREE admission and parking, making it the perfect Father’s Day Weekend destination for families throughout the Bay Area.
Festivalgoers enjoy live music from eight top local bands, mouthwatering BBQ and a dozen more eclectic food and beverage vendors, local wine and beer, kids rides, arts and crafts, and commercial exhibitors throughout the weekend.
Festival hours are THIS Friday 5 – 9pm, Saturday 11am – 9pm and Father’s Day Sunday 11am – 6pm.
On Saturday and Sunday, BBQ teams from across the region battle it out for the coveted title of “King of the County.” The Backyard BBQ Competition welcomes dozens of teams annually, including returning champions, family teams and first-time competitors, all looking to claim bragging rights while taking home trophies, swag and cash prizes.
