Garage Fire Displaces 3 In Pacifica, Electrical Appliance to Blame: FD
Six fire companies responded to the blaze, who kept the flames from spreading to the rest of the home.
PACIFICA, CA — A garage fire displaced three people Saturday at a two-story home in Pacifica, though no injuries were reported, the North County Fire Authority said.
Six fire companies responded to the blaze at 665 Southmoor Dr., where crews were able to contain the fire to the attached garage and prevent it from reaching the rest of the residence.
Investigators determined the fire was accidental, caused by an electrical dehumidifier that had been running near combustible materials, officials said.
