2 Dogs Found Alone At Will Rogers State Beach, Owner Sought: Report

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A Good Samaritan is asking for the public's help identifying the owner of two dogs found alone earlier this month at Will Rogers State Beach.

FOX 11 Los Angeles reports Paolo Moreno discovered the dogs on July 9 near Temescal Canyon Road. He also found personal belongings, including dog food, a swimsuit and other items, prompting concerns about what may have happened to the owner.

According to the report, Moreno contacted the Los Angeles Police Department and searched nearby homeless encampments but was unable to identify who the dogs belong to. He also took the animals to a veterinarian, where he learned neither dog had a microchip.

Moreno told FOX 11 the dogs appeared healthy and well cared for, and said he has posted flyers in the area in hopes someone will recognize them or provide information about their owner.
