Theatre Palisades and the Theatre Palisades Actors’ Troupe (TPAT) present a special, one-night-only live radio performance: Dracula: The Radio Play by Philip Grecian. First written and broadcast on the radio in 1973, Grecian's play captures the authentic style of 1930s "Golden Age" radio play.
Adapted from Bram Stoker’s classic novel, this production brings the haunting gothic story to life right on stage. Performers deliver their lines into classic microphones, while an on-stage Foley crew creates chilling live sound effects—from creaking coffins and howling wolves to thunderclaps and flapping bats.
“Bram Stoker’s Dracula is a truly timeless masterpiece,” said Martha Hunter, director of TPAT. “The sheer volume of film and stage adaptations over the decades stands as a powerful testament to the enduring strength of the original story.”
Audience members are encouraged to bring a friend and come in costume to celebrate the Halloween season together.
