Alaska Airlines Resuming Nonstop Service Between Palm Springs, Santa Rosa

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Alaska Airlines will resume seasonal nonstop service between Palm Springs International Airport and Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa beginning in September, airport officials announced Tuesday.

The seasonal route will operate Sept. 10 through April 25, 2027, with flights offered five days a week — Thursdays through Mondays — aboard Alaska Airlines' 76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft, according to the airline.

"Our travelers have embraced this route, and we're thrilled to see Alaska Airlines bring it back even earlier this year," interim Executive Director Victoria Carpenter said in a statement.

Airport officials said the seasonal service will return six weeks earlier than last year following the route's success and Alaska Airlines' decision to extend seasonal service beyond the traditional winter travel season.
