Coachella Valley Veterans To Be Honored At Palm Desert Celebration

PALM DESERT, CA — Coachella Valley veterans will be honored in November during a Veterans Day Eve celebration featuring special tributes, festivities and a performance by rock band The Hit Men.

The celebration will take place Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the McCallum Theatre, 73000 Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., according to organizers.

The night will feature special tributes, pre-show festivities and an on-stage performance by The Hit Men.

People of all ages are welcome to join the community in honoring local veterans.

Residents and community members are encouraged to submit nominations for veterans whose service and stories are deserving of recognition.

Nominations are due Tuesday, Sept. 15.
