Expect Traffic Delays Near Palm Springs Public Library Amid $40M Renovation Project
The renovation project involves upgrading maintenance and infrastructure to the building at 300 S. Sunrise Way.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — Construction on roadway work as part of the Palm Springs Public Library renovation project will begin Monday, with intermittent lane closures over the next few months.
Construction crews will work from 7 a.m. through 4 p.m. from July 20 through at least Nov. 13, officials said. The work will include expanding the south parking lot and a new driveway entrance, which will include a median, on Sunrise Way.
Sunrise Way will be reduced to a single lane between Baristo Road and Camino Parocela, and motorists were advised to expect delays or use alternate routes.
