Police Blotter: Trapped Turkey, Parking Tickets, Warrant Arrest
A quiet few days, although police made a number of traffic stops and responded to several false alarms from home security systems.

Incidents highlighted in the blotter were recorded in the Piedmont Police Department log May 3 through noon, May 6. Information was supplied by the police and does not indicate any convictions.
SATURDAY, MAY 4
Noisy event — A neighbor complained of a loud party at the Community Center just before 11 p.m. A police officer found the event was just breaking up.

SUNDAY, MAY 5
Parking tickets — A police officer issued eight citations for vehicles parked on El Cerrito and Jerome avenues without the proper residential permits. A local resident called later to report more illegally parked vehicles.

Turkey rescue — A caller reported a baby wild turkey stuck in a storm drain about 7 p.m. The Piedmont Fire Department responded.
Warrant arrest — Police took a person into custody about 10 p.m. on warrants for identity theft and failure to appear in court.
