3,500+ Classic Cars Roll Into Pleasanton For Goodguys West Coast Nationals

The massive three-day car show returns to the Alameda County Fairgrounds with racing, vintage dragsters, a swap meet and more.

PLEASANTON, CA — The famed Goodguys West Coast Nationals car show is returning to the Alameda County Fairgrounds for the 39th year this weekend, bringing with it more than 3,500 of the coolest hot rods, muscle cars, trick trucks, customs and more.

In addition to marveling at some of the best cars around, auto enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of shows, competitions and activities, including:

  • Goodguys AutoCross racing, including Saturday’s Wilwood Disc Brakes “West Coast Shootout”
  • Live music, games, crafts and a free kids Model Car Make-and-Take
  • Swap Meet & Cars 4 Sale Corral, featuring automotive parts, memorabilia and vehicles for sale
  • The Goodguys Nitro Thunderfest vintage dragster exhibition
  • The Pinstripers Brush Bash, featuring an exhibition and competition by West Coast pinstripers
  • Displays of vintage model and pedal cars, model trains and Cushman vehicles

The event also features indoor car displays, with eligible vehicles competing for Builder’s Choice Top 10 honors and select Goodguys Top 12 “Of The Year” awards.

The 39th West Coast Nationals runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
