Teen Volunteer Opportunity

To graduate from the Pleasanton Unified School District, students at Foothill, Amador, and Village high schools are required to complete 20 documented service hours with non-profit organizations in the community. The Friends of the Pleasanton Library are sponsoring their fundraising Book and Media Sale from March 25-28. High school student volunteers are needed to set up for the event on Saturday, March 21, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Pleasanton Public Library. Students will assemble shelves and set up tables in the large meeting room. They will then remove thousands of books from boxes and display them on the shelves and tables.
