Bridge Repairs Prompt 10 Freeway Lane Closures In Redlands Starting Aug. 30
Weather permitted, crews will be conducting bridge stall repairs, according to Caltrans.
REDLANDS, CA— Construction crews will alternate lane closures on the 10 Freeway in Redlands beginning Sunday as bridge maintenance work continues.
Weather permitted, crews will be conducting bridge stall repairs from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Aug. 30 through Wednesday, Sept. 2, according to the California Department of Transportation.
Caltrans said in order for crews to safely and efficiently conduct bridge inspections and repairs, they will have to close the following sections of the Interstate 10:

- Sunday, Aug. 30: Eastbound #3 and #4 lanes from 6th Street to the 10 and 210 Freeway interchange. The closure will include the Tennessee Street on and off ramps.
- Monday, Aug. 31: Westbound #3 and #4 lanes from 6th Street to the 10 and 210 Freeway interchange. The closure will include the Orange Street/State Route 38 straight on ramp and the circle on ramp.
- Tuesday, Sept. 1: Westbound #1 and #2 lanes from 6th Street to Texas Street.
Motorists were advised to watch for signage alerting them of upcoming maintenance, and to reduce their speed in and surrounding the work zone.
