The magnitude 3.4 quake struck at 6:40 p.m. on Friday

REDLANDS, CA — The latest in a series of earthquakes rattled the Inland Empire Friday night.

A magnitude 3.4 quake with an epicenter near Redlands struck at 6:40 p.m. Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

Earlier Friday, a magnitude 3.1 quake with an epicenter nearby in Loma Linda struck at 5:53 a.m.
