The next in-person Journal Page Making will be Saturday 10/3/26 from 1 pm - 3pm. This will be held at the art room (basement of the main house) at Holbrook Palmer Park, 150 Watkins Avenue, Atherton. No fee and no experience needed. High school students and adults only please.Use your artistic talent to make simple 8 1/2 × 11'" decorated or collaged pages which will be assembled into a journal. Appropriate weight paper (24 lb+) and magazines will be provided. Please bring your favorite paper scissors, a glue stick (not student glue), and any ephemera or other art material that you would like to use on your pages. This volunteer project benefits Grateful Garment https://gratefulgarment.org an organization which provides support to victims of sexual crimes. They have told us that their clients sometimes find it easier to write about the trauma they have endured rather than talk about it. They would like to have 50+ of these journals every month. A team of volunteers will assemble 10 of the decorated pages from different artists into journals, and deliver them to Grateful Garment.Thank you to all of you who have contributed pages so far. It is much appreciated.Gigi Babcock gigi94025@gmail.comP.S.
