Crane Truck Driver Arrested For DUI After Overturning On Redwood City Highway: Police

The early-morning crash blocked two lanes of northbound traffic, police said.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A crane truck driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Tuesday morning after losing control of the vehicle, the California Highway Patrol said.

Officers said they responded around 6:50 a.m. and found the truck overturned on its right side on northbound I-280 south of Page Mill Road in Redwood City.

The truck was blocking the third and fourth lanes.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment before being arrested on suspicion of DUI, police said.
