Man Under The Influence Tased At SMC High School: Police

Police said the man was unauthorized to be on campus, resisted officers and was carrying a metal file.

REDWOOD CITY, CA A 38-year-old Redwood City man was arrested Wednesday after police said he entered a Sequoia High School unauthorized under the influence and with a metal file in his hand.

The Redwood City Police Department’s School Liaison Officer was notified of an unauthorized adult on campus around 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.

The officer located Adrian Garciaisaula, who became increasingly agitated and confrontational and refused repeated commands, according to police. Officers said they deployed a Taser before taking him into custody because of his behavior and possession of the metal object.
