2-Alarm Fire Destroys Family Home In Rohnert Park
Firefighters contained the late-night blaze to one home, protecting neighboring residences from flames Sunday night.
ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — Firefighters stopped a two-alarm fire from spreading to neighboring homes Sunday night after flames tore through a Bobbie Way residence and displaced a family of four.
The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Dispatch Center received multiple calls at about 10:30 p.m. reporting a structure fire in the 7500 block of Bobbie Way.
Officers arrived within minutes and found flames coming from the front of the home and garage. Officials immediately requested a second alarm because of the fire’s extent.

Rohnert Park firefighters worked with Sonoma County Fire, Petaluma Fire, and Gold Ridge Fire to contain the blaze to the residence and protect neighboring homes.
Fire and smoke damaged the home, prompting officials to red-tag it.

The American Red Cross is assisting the four displaced residents, including two adults and two minor children.
The Rohnert Park Fire Investigation Team is investigating the cause.
