Teen Stabbing Leads To Rohnert Park Arrest

Police say a fight escalated into a knife attack, sending one teen to the hospital and prompting detectives to seek witnesses.

ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — A teen who arrived at a hospital with severe cuts to his face set off an investigation that ended in a raid and arrest in Rohnert Park.

Police suspect the stabbing began as a fight in Rohnert Park and escalated into a knife assault.

The injured teen arrived at a hospital on Monday with major facial injuries, according to Rohnert Park police.

Police identified a juvenile suspect and, at about 7 a.m. Tuesday searched the teen suspect's home in the 400 block of City Center Drive.

Police arrested the teen on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and mayhem, according to Rohnert Park police.
