The Count's Halloween Spooktacular Returning To Sesame Place San Diego

CHULA VISTA, CA — The Count's Halloween Spooktacular returns to Sesame Place San Diego this fall with a new interactive show, a Halloween parade, scavenger hunts and trick-or-treating.

The family-friendly Halloween event will run Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1 at the Chula Vista theme park.

The new "Monster Mayhem Game Show" will feature Sesame Street characters leading families through games like a matching game and pumpkin toss at the Sesame Street Theater.

Other activities include a Halloween costume parade, scarecrow scavenger hunt, Halloween storytime and photos with Sesame Street characters in costume.

Families also can attend Halloween Dine with Elmo, featuring a buffet meal and character appearances. On Oct. 31, the park will hold its annual costume contest, with prizes for children and families.

Trick-or-treating will be available at several locations throughout the park. Guests must purchase a reusable tote bag to participate.

The park's water attractions will remain open through October, along with rides and other attractions.

Sesame Place San Diego is at 2052 Entertainment Circle in Chula Vista. The park is open weekends during the fall season.
