Give Blood, Get Free Padres Tickets At 10th Annual Padres Summer Blood Drive
The 10th annual Padres Summer Blood Drive will take place at Gallagher Square at Petco Park.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Give blood and get free San Diego Padres tickets during the Padres Summer Blood Drive.
The 10th annual event is scheduled May 5 at Gallagher Square at Petco Park.
The Padres have partnered with San Diego Blood Bank to host summer blood drives since 2017. Since the first blood drive, donors have given more than 4,200 pints of blood to support thousands of patients in Southern California hospitals, according to San Diego Blood Bank.

"We're proud to celebrate 10 years of this impactful partnership with the San Diego Padres," San Diego Blood Bank CEO Douglas Morton said in a statement. "This blood drive highlights the power of community — when fans come together, they're not just supporting their team, they're helping ensure lifesaving blood is available for patients across our region."
Donors will get two free tickets to the May 27 Padres game against the Philadelphia Phillies, while supplies last. Donors will also receive a 2026 Padres Summer Blood Drive UPF 50 Sun Shirt.

The blood drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Gallagher Square. Donors can park for free in the Lexus Premier Parking Lot at the corner of Park Boulevard and Imperial Avenue. Parking is subject to availability.
"For 10 years, the Padres Summer Blood Drive has had a meaningful impact on our community by providing critical support for those in need," said Tom Seidler, Padres executive vice president of community and international impact. "We are proud of our longstanding partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank on these lifesaving efforts while bringing fans together at Petco Park for causes that extend beyond baseball."
To be eligible to donate blood, donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health. Donors are asked to arrive hydrated with photo ID and to allow about one hour to donate blood from registration through recovery.
Appointments will be honored first, but walk-ins are welcome. Eligible blood donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment at sandiegobloodbank.org/padres-blood-drive or by calling 619-400-8251.
