San Diego County Voters To Receive Postcards Ahead Of November Election

SAN DIEGO, CA — More than 2 million San Diego County voters will receive postcards explaining voting options for the Nov. 3 Gubernatorial General Election, the county Registrar of Voters office announced.

The postcards outline how registered voters can cast their ballots, including by mail, at ballot drop boxes or in person at vote centers. Ballots are expected to arrive the week of Oct. 5, giving voters nearly a month to return them before Election Day.

All registered voters will receive a mail ballot and can return it with no postage required, at any official ballot drop box beginning Oct. 6, or at any vote center starting Oct. 24.

In-person voting will begin Oct. 5 at the Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa, located at 5600 Overland Ave. in San Diego. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Vote centers will open Oct. 24 through Nov. 3. Select vote centers will be available daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Oct. 24, and all vote centers will be open daily starting Oct. 31.

On Election Day, Nov. 3, all vote centers, ballot drop boxes and the Registrar of Voters office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
