Sugared + Bronzed Opens Permanent Studio In San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — Sugared + Bronzed has opened a permanent studio in La Jolla following the success of a mobile pop-up, expanding its footprint in San Diego County.

The studio opened in February on Villa La Jolla Drive. The new space is the brand's second San Diego area location. The Liberty Station location opened in 2024.

"San Diego has always felt like a natural fit for Sugared + Bronzed," a spokesperson told Patch. "The response and loyalty we've seen at Liberty Station has been incredible. Opening in La Jolla allows us to bring S+B to even more of the San Diego community and expand thoughtfully in a region that aligns so well with our brand."

Sugared + Bronzed specializes in all-natural sugaring hair removal, an alternative to traditional waxing, as well as custom airbrush tanning using proprietary FlexExpress elixirs designed to produce a natural, streak-free glow.

The La Jolla location also features a curated retail collection, including its Sunless Tanning Mousse and Hocoba Oil, as well as membership options offering savings and additional benefits.
