Swastikas, Antisemitic Graffiti Found At 2 South Bay Homes

IMPERIAL BEACH, CA — Authorities are investigating two cases of antisemitic vandalism reported over the weekend at homes in Imperial Beach.

Deputies responded shortly after 2:30 p.m. Saturday to a home in the 100 block of Elm Avenue, where a swastika and other antisemitic graffiti had been drawn on the exterior of the residence with what appeared to be black permanent marker, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.

Later that day, deputies learned of similar vandalism at a home in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive. A swastika and antisemitic graffiti were found on a window, also apparently drawn with a black permanent marker.

No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made, according to the sheriff's office.

Detectives with the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation are investigating the incidents.
