Target Beauty Studio Arrives In San Diego County

The retailer's new beauty concept is rolling out at more than 600 stores nationwide, including 92 in California.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Target's new Beauty Studio concept debuted Thursday at a dozen stores across San Diego County, bringing more than 1,600 curated products from 90 beauty brands to the region.

The new beauty destination features skincare, hair care, cosmetics, fragrances and other products from prestige, emerging and international brands. More than two-thirds of the featured brands are new to Target, according to the retailer.

San Diego County locations include stores in Chula Vista, El Cajon, Encinitas, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, San Diego and Vista. Participating San Diego stores include locations in Balboa, College Area, Mira Mesa, Mission Valley, Sports Arena, Balboa, and College.

The concept includes dedicated beauty advisers who can offer product recommendations and guidance, along with opportunities to test select products. Stores also feature rotating product displays, mini products and a central display that will change throughout the year to highlight different brands and products.

Brands making their Target debut include Sunday Riley, Briogeo, First Aid Beauty, Boy Smells and Lake & Skye. The assortment also includes K-Beauty brands and products spanning skincare, hair care, fragrance, styling, sun care and self-tanning.

Target will hold Beauty Studio launch celebrations from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 at participating stores. The first 100 guests at most locations will receive a Target Circle bonus to shop Target Beauty Studio in store and online, and select stores will offer additional giveaways.
