Woman Injured In Poway Assault With Deadly Weapon: Sheriff's Office

Paramedics took her to a local hospital for treatment.

POWAY, CA — A woman was hospitalized Tuesday after an assault with a deadly weapon at a Poway home, authorities said.

Deputies from the Poway Sheriff's Station responded to the 14000 block of Brighton Avenue and found the woman suffering from traumatic injuries, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. Paramedics took her to a local hospital for treatment.

The circumstances and motive remain under investigation. No arrests have been made. Authorities said the incident appeared to be isolated based on information gathered so far.
