Multiple BART Lines Shut Down Sunday For Maintenance

As part of the service changes, there is no Green Line or Red Line service for Sunday.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Bay Area Rapid Transit officials announced significant service disruptions Sunday as crews conduct essential maintenance work on the Transbay Tube. Trains are operating on a single track through the tube for lighting upgrades, with service reduced to every 30 minutes systemwide.

Transit officials said regular service is expected to resume Monday. As part of the service changes, there is no Green Line or Red Line service for Sunday. Riders are being directed to use alternate routes and transfer points across the system. Additionally, passengers traveling between Berryessa and Daly City are advised to take a Dublin/Pleasanton train and transfer at Bayfair to continue their trip. Those heading in the opposite direction can board a Richmond train and also transfer at Bayfair.

For riders traveling to or from Millbrae, a shuttle train is running between San Francisco International Airport and Millbrae, with connections to the Yellow Line. Passengers from Richmond can take an Orange Line train toward Berryessa and transfer at MacArthur for Yellow Line service to SFO.
