Student From Oakland Selected For Prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship in Hollywood
Alexander Luce to Intern in Editing

Alexander Luce, of Oakland, California, has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship program. He is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2026 Summer Internship program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.
Luce is a rising senior at the University of Southern California majoring in film and television production. He will be an editing intern this summer at Geiger Post, a boutique post-production facility in Hollywood, through the Foundation’s program.
“To be chosen by the same people whose work I admire is both humbling and energizing,” said Luce. “I’m excited to see the craft and communication inside a professional post‑production team. Getting to learn directly from editors and assistants is exactly the kind of environment I want to grow in.

“I’m drawn to television because of the rhythm and collaboration of episodic storytelling,” continued Luce. “There’s something artful in shaping a story that evolves, deepens and builds a relationship with its audience. That long-form rhythm is compelling and challenging in the best way.”
From Oakland, California, Luce attended The International School of San Francisco.
