San Leandro Cherry Festival Returns In June
The tradition dates back to 1909, officials said.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro's longtime Cherry Festival will return in June, city officials said.
The festivities on Saturday, June 6, will include a parade with floats, classic cars, costumes, live music, vendors, a fresh cherry market and a family fun zone, city officials said.
Farenhyte5150, a Bay Area funk band, The Purple Ones and Conjunto Karabali, featuring 14-time Grammy winner Karl Perazzi, will perform at the event's main stage.

The event, which will take place in Historic Downtown San Leandro and has been going on since 1909, will have the parade from 10 to 11 a.m. The parade will start at the San Leandro Bart station and end near the Main Library.
Attendees can then enjoy the offerings from the festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
