Road Reopened In SMC Following Law Enforcement Operation: Police

The police department had advised residents to avoid a portion of the road during the early morning operation.

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo police have concluded a preplanned law enforcement operation that had prompted an early morning advisory for residents Thursday in a portion of the city.

The San Mateo Police Department initially told the public around 5:15 a.m. Thursday to avoid the 3000 block of Mason Lane, stating officers were assisting an outside agency with an operation in the area.

Around 45 minutes later, around 6 a.m., police lifted the advisory, informing residents that normal activity could resume.
