2 Wounded In Shooting At Santa Monica Pier
Officers secured the shooting scene for their investigation.
SANTA MONICA, CA — Two people were wounded when shots were fired in a fight Sunday at the Santa Monica Pier.
Officers were called at about 9 p.m. Sunday to the pier after the shots were reported, the Santa Monica Police Department reported.
Preliminary information indicated there was a large fight involving multiple people before shots rang out and two people suffered what were believed non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The cause of the fight was not immediately known.

Arriving officers tended to the wounded until paramedics arrived to take them to a hospital, police said.
