Get ready for a day of creativity, innovation, and inspiration!
The DxD Block Party: Gin D. Wong Day is a FREE community event where architecture, design, engineering, and construction meet hands-on fun!
This year’s event will be hosted by Santa Monica College – Center for Media & Design (1660 Stewart St, Santa Monica, CA 90404) on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 9 am to 2 pm.
DxD Day connects hundreds of students with local design and construction professionals. All elementary, middle, and high school students, families, educators, professionals, and community members interested in architecture, design, engineering, and construction are welcome to attend.
The day-long event, organized by Architecture for Communities Los Angeles (ACLA), will include hands-on activities and information booths hosted by local firms, area colleges and universities, and community organizations. It will also include mentoring sessions, keynote speakers, and free food.
