Hawaiian Luau Returning To Santee Senior Living Community

SANTEE, CA — Lantern Crest Senior Living will host its annual Hawaiian Luau on Aug. 27, bringing Polynesian entertainment and island-inspired food to its Santee campus.

Guests can watch Polynesian dance performances and enjoy tropical music and a buffet featuring huli huli chicken, Hawaiian-style ribs, teriyaki pineapple mahi mahi, Hawaiian fried rice, tropical salads, roasted pig and island-inspired desserts.

The event is open to the public and costs $38 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 619-971-3983.

The event is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Plaza at Lantern Crest at 800 Lantern Crest Way.

Lantern Crest, located on 34 acres in Santee, offers independent living, assisted living and memory care for seniors.

The annual luau is part of the community's year-round schedule of social events, entertainment, dining and wellness activities.
