Mudslide Reported On South Bay Roadway
The mudslide was reported at 9:35 a.m. Thursday on state Highway 9.

SARATOGA, CA — A mudslide was blocking a South Bay roadway Thursday morning following heavy overnight rains throughout the Bay Area. The mudslide on Big Basin Way — state Highway 9 — in Saratoga was reported to California Highway Patrol at 9:35 a.m.
Mud, dirt and rock were blocking the roadway, which is in the area of Sanborn County Park and Saratoga Open Gap Preserve, according to CHP dispatch logs.
