Unlicensed 15-Year-Old Accused Of Crashing Car While Under The Influence

Callers reported the vehicle went into a ditch and crashed into a utility pole, police said.

SANTA ROSA, CA — A 15-year-old boy was accused of driving under the influence after allegedly crashing a vehicle in Santa Rosa on Friday.

Police responded to a crash near Burbank Avenue and Liana Drive at about 9:30 a.m., according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

Callers reported the vehicle went into a ditch and crashed into a utility pole, police said.

Police officers who responded accused the driver of being under the influence of alcohol. He arrested and taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The boy was also cited for driving without a license. He was later released to his mother.
