LA Man Wins $630K Pechanga Resort Casino Progressive Slot Machine
The 'Frankenstein Returns' Progressive Slot Game yielded this Pechanga Resort Casino winner over $630,000 in early February.

TEMECULA, CA — A Los Angeles couple hit it big on Pechanga Resort Casino slot machines on Super Bowl Sunday this year, winning over $600,000 according to a resort spokesperson.
While just about everyone else in the country was watching the Seahawks and Patriots, or the commercials of big game, Quan Z., a Los Angeles county man, had other big plans.
On Sunday, Feb. 8, Quan and his wife drove to Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula for what he called “a fun trip” for the day, spokesperson Ciara Green told Patch.

"As the couple passed by the FRANKENSTEIN RETURNS game in the early evening, Quan gave it a spin for five minutes," she said. "Those five minutes proved extraordinarily fruitful, and maybe even frightful, as he scared up and scored the progressive jackpot of $639,903.71."
Quan wagered the maximum bet of $8 on the $1 denomination monster-themed game by Light & Wonder, she said. He told Pechanga staff that he'd only spent $200 before "Frankenstein" bestowed him with good fortune.

Of the win, Quan told staff he was really happy as he posed for photos with both the big Pechanga Resort Casino check, and his wife at his side.
As for what he’ll do with his winnings? he said he and his wife will do "a little shopping."
What would you do with over $600K?
This is not the first time the monster bank of progressive slot machines helped someone pay a bill or two.
In June of 2023, a Murrieta woman hit a major monster jackpot, also on the FRANKENSTEIN game at Pechanga. She took home $414,615.85, according to Green.
