Teen volunteers Needed At Temecula Public Library: How To Apply

TEMECULA, CA — The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library is seeking Temecula teenagers to volunteer their time this summer, the library announced. Students in grades 9–12 can volunteer during our Summer Reading Adventure, which runs from June 8 through July 17 at the library located at 30600 Pauba Road in Temecula.

This will be a fun and meaningful way for teenagers heading into high school and those currently enrolled to spend their summer, according to a library spokesperson.

Within the Temecula Valley Unified School District, high school students must maintain a certain number of volunteer hours as determined by the school.

Students are required to accumulate a specified number of hours of community service for graduation and will receive credit for volunteer service hours only with a non-profit organization. Please confirm the non-profit status before volunteering your time. At the library, this and tutoring opportunities are a great way to add to those needed hours.

"Help younger kids discover the joy of reading, make new friends, and gain valuable work experience along the way," they said.
