Known for her powerful arm, athleticism, and competitive edge, she has also captivated fans nationwide as a standout player for the Savannah Bananas," according to a spokesperson for the event. "Her journey is a testament to perseverance, passion, and redefining what’s possible in baseball—making her an incredible role model for athletes of all backgrounds."
"I almost quit baseball (in 2025,) I was ready to be done. I've been on four different professional baseball teams and I thought I was done," she said after she signed with the Savannah Bananas. "Baseball is fun again. Little 6-year-old me would not say 'no' to this."
Now, Whitmore is playing in major league ballparks across the country and having a blast with the Banana Ball antics. Be sure and register for her Monday baseball camp and let them know that Patch sent you.
