Temecula Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Motorcycle Collision With Delivery Truck: CHP

TEMECULA, CA — A 75-year-old Temecula man was killed Wednesday after a collision involving a motorcycle and a commercial delivery truck in the city, authorities announced on Thursday.

Arleigh Crisman was fatally injured at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Glen Oaks and Bella Vista roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The agency said the motorcycle and a FedEx delivery truck impacted, ejecting the rider into a ditch.

Riverside County Fire Department crews reached the location a few minutes later and found the motorcyclist in grave condition.

A helicopter airlift was requested as paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but moments later, Crisman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The FedEx driver was not hurt. He was questioned at the scene but not arrested.

CHP officers partially shut down the intersection to conduct a preliminary investigation, but the closures were lifted a couple of hours later.
