Police Activity At Temecula Parkway, Wolf Store Road: Here's What Happened
Witnesses reported a "suspicious person behaving erratically" near Kohl's shopping center.
TEMECULA, CA — One person was detained Friday in Temecula near the Kohl's Shopping Center, Riverside County Sheriff's Department confirmed.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m., the Temecula Southwest Sheriff's Station deputies were called to the 32000 block of Temecula Parkway, near Wolf Store Road, regarding "a suspicious person behaving erratically," Lt. Dierdre Vickers told Patch.
"Upon arrival, deputies located the suspect inside a vehicle," she said.

Officers then commanded the subject to exit, but they failed to listen to instructions.
Multiple attempts were made to negotiate for the subject's surrender. At 1 p.m., the subject at last exited the vehicle and was taken into custody.

"There were no reported injuries," she said. "This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time."
