Annual Temecula Rod Run Planned In May, Rides To Shine: 2024

The annual Temecula Rod Run will take place in historic Old Town on Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, drawing thousands to participate.

TEMECULA, CA — The City of Temecula is once again hosting its Annual Rod Run, where car enthusiasts and families can soak up the atmosphere of shiny paint and chrome, well-oiled engines, and memories of days gone by. The city invites all ar enthusiasts —novice to expert— to enjoy the Temecula Rod Run in historic Old Town on Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, 2024.

This event draws tens of thousands of visitors and classic hot rods each year. All entries for the Rod Run are full, according to the city. However, there's always room for car lovers to stroll the sidewalks and talk with car lovers about what it takes to create a show-ready ride.

The festivities kick off with the Friday Night Cruise With Stew on Friday, May 3, from 5 to 8 p.m., up and down Old Town Front Street. On Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., cars will line up for judging in the Show & Shine.

"Come see over 500 pristine classics and under-construction projects, including Model A’s, T-Buckets, T-Birds, and Roadsters displayed from arch to arch. Remember to visit our Vendors on Main Street to enjoy hot eats and cool treats, and do not forget to purchase your official Temecula Rod Run gear.

City of Temecula Mayor James ‘Stew’ Stewart commented about the coming annual show.

“As an avid classic car collector, the Temecula Rod Run is always one of my personal favorite annual events. The community is going to be so excited to see these amazing and unique vehicles drive up and down the Old Town Temecula strip! So, come on out and join me as I lead the ‘Friday Night Cruise with Stew’ and be sure to come back the next day for Saturday’s ‘Show & Shine’!”
