I have spent more than three decades working in healthcare and public health, helping individuals and families improve their health and quality of life. My professional background includes degrees in health communication, a master’s in human nutrition and functional medicine, a doctorate in chiropractic, along with advanced clinical training. I authored Heal the Children to help parents learn how to help their children develop healthy habits at home and school. I have been actively involved in community education and prevention efforts at the county, state, and national levels. My family’s roots in California go back generations, and I have lived and worked in this region for 26 years. I have raised three responsible adult children here and have deep connections to the communities of this district. My decision to run for Congress is grounded in a desire to serve, listen to residents, and help ensure our communities remain safe, healthy, and economically strong.

I believe what sets me apart is my long record of serving people directly. For more than three decades, I have worked in healthcare and public health, helping families navigate complex challenges and improve their well-being. I understand how policies affect real people because I have seen those impacts firsthand. I am also deeply connected to this district. I have raised my family here, built relationships across our communities, and listened to residents from many different backgrounds. I am committed to practical solutions, responsible leadership, and ensuring that the voices of the people are truly represented in Washington.
3. What are the biggest challenges facing the 10th district, and how do you plan to address them?
The biggest challenges facing the 10th District are the rising cost of living, public safety concerns, reliable transportation, and economic stability for working families and small businesses. Many residents are working hard but struggling to afford housing, healthcare, and everyday necessities.
My approach is to focus on practical solutions: supporting policies that lower costs for families and businesses, strengthening public safety through responsible funding and coordination with local agencies, improving transportation reliability and access to jobs and services, and promoting economic growth that allows businesses to stay and create opportunities locally. Above all, I will listen to the community and work to ensure federal resources are used responsibly to improve quality of life in our district.
4. Outside of politics, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy cycling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my family and my dogs. Staying active and connected to nature helps me stay balanced and energized.
