'Suspicious Call' Rattles Walnut Creek School

Police searched and patrolled a Walnut Creek school after a caller leaves a threatening voicemail.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek police responded to Northgate High School after school staff discovered a suspicious voicemail left over the weekend that referenced potential threats to the campus.

Police searched the campus on Monday morning with a K9 unit. They found no suspicious items, and classes resumed as normal. As a precaution, police patrolled the campus for the rest of the day.

Police are still investigating the threat.
